Natsume recently announced their release date for the newest Harvest Moon entry along with a few extra screenshots! Now I know what you’re probably thinking, and that’s that this game isn’t created by the original developers, Marvelous Inc, whom are still working on Harvest Moon games but under the Story of Seasons name. However, I think there’s room enough to enjoy both franchises.
Up until now, I definitely thought the Story of Seasons games were better in terms of graphics and gameplay, so I haven’t played the main titles by Natsume. However, when I gave Harvest Moon: Mad Dash a chance on the Nintendo Switch, I started to see how their spin-offs or ideas that push the boundaries of what we know of this beloved farming sim, could offer a great new experience in the genre!
Harvest Moon: Mad Dash may not look like it could entertain for hours, but when I played the game in local co-op, I couldn’t get enough of it! With Harvest Moon: One World, the CEO of Natsume promises a bigger and better world, and that their “new engine and new graphics will upgrade this experience for 2020.”
