Larian Studios has quickly become one of my favorite indie developers with their founder’s witty videos, and his passion for their games and fans. Like the Dragon Age series, the Divinity: Original Sin games are among my top 5. Especially with their latest entry Divinity: Original Sin II on PC and consoles, with its turn-based strategy gameplay, with Dungeons & Dragons mechanics, and the best cooperative full screen/split-screen I have ever seen for an RPG.
That’s why Wizard of the Coast’s decision to have Larian Studios develop the upcoming Baldur’s Gate 3 game, was a match made in heaven. The developers have been very quiet since that announcement during last year’s E3. Now, they have finally revealed that they are ready to show us some gameplay for the very first time at PAX East 2020!
Larian Studios’ Creative Director Swen Vincke will be playing live on stage with Jesse Cox, revealing more about the story, mechanics, and doing a live Q&A for Baldur’s Gate 3. They’ll also be present in the expo hall of PAX East, with an all-new booth dedicated to Baldur’s Gate 3.
Don’t worry if you can’t attend the expo in Boston, MA, on February 27th-March 1st, 2020, because the live show will be streaming on YouTube at 3:30 p.m. EST! For now, you can Wishlist the Baldur’s Gate 3 on Steam here, and check out the announcement trailer below!
