If you haven’t already played or heard of My Time at Portia, it’s a farming simulation RPG developed by Pathea Games and published by Team17 released last year on consoles and PC. In fact, it continues to receive updates with new NPCs, new quests, and more. What started out as a large DLC for the game, My Time at Sandrock is now going to be a full-fledged game!
The creators promise “incorporate what people liked about Portia as well as adding plenty of new stuff to make things feel fresh!” The game will therefore have its own beautiful art and music, and more in-depth characters! Since the team at Pathea Games would like to incorporate a multiplayer mode this time around, they’re asking for funding over on Kickstarter here. Don’t miss out on those rewards consisting of digital wallpapers and an artbook, Beta access, etc!
Recruited to Sandrock to be a Builder, you’ll arrive to find the town in a sad state. Shops are run down, buildings are empty, and people are looking to leave. It’ll be up to you to use your wits and skills to unite the townsfolk and rebuild the city into a beacon of prosperity.
Finally, My Time at Sandrock will release on Steam Early Access in March 2021. In 2022 the full version is planned for GOG, Epic Store, WeGame, and other PC platforms. Whereas, the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and next-gen console versions will release in the Summer of 2022.
