**IGN and ScreenRant have confirmed through an anonymous developer that the allegations previously mentioned are false. However, Office Create (the IP holder) is in the midst of filing a lawsuit against publisher Planet Entertainment for not adhering to their contract and releasing the product without permission. This is why all digital copies have been pulled from their listings.**

** It seems through other media sources online that there’s a reason it’s hard to find information on this game and why it’s been pulled from the Nintendo eShop. Some are reporting overheating if their Switches after purchasing Cooking Mama: Cookstar as Planet Entertainment is mining cryptocurrency with it with their “blockchain technology”. These are still only rumors but I would not recommend buying this game at this time if you happen to find a physical copy at a retailer.**
