Square Enix Announces Release Date for the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remaster

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was first announced a couple of years ago and has since been delayed more than once. Now it seems our wait is finally over as Square Enix announced that the Remastered Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, iOS and Android on August 27th, 2020!

This new and improved version of the 2003 GameCube game will featured better visuals, new challenging dungeons, and character voice-overs for the first time!

Most importantly, you won’t need extra Game Boy Advance handhelds just to play along with friends! Now you can play with up to 3 friends and invite them to your crystal caravan with the new multiplayer online mode, with supported cross-play to boot!

About Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition

The game follows a young group, known as the Crystal Caravans, as they embark on an epic journey to search for myrrh, a precious and rare liquid needed to cleanse and maintain a crystal protecting their world from the deadly gas, miasma. Check out the official website here for more!

If you can’t wait until then, I suggest trying out the free demos of both Final Fantasy VII Remake and Bravely Default II right now!
